Default Valeo has discontinued the LT1 clutch kit

Just a heads up....I e-mailed Valeo on where I could buy their clutch kit #52802208 for a LT1 and they sent back that they have discontinued it. Looks like all we have now is the made in china pressure plate.

Made in China is a way of life. You can thank the "Global Economy" and to a lesser degree N.A.F.T.A. for just inserting the notion that it was ok to send work like this outside of the U.S.

/Rant

So anyways, I was just wondering that does any aftermarket companies use PP that are not Made in China. Such as Monster, Spec, Ram, ACT, Zoom, and so on and so forth.

With a 5 year run plus a healthy aftermarket, I find it hard to believe they won't continue to sell the LT4 PP (which is all that has been made for years.) On a wholesale basis at least.

BSM - many many many aftermarket clutches use the LT4 pressure plate.

I hear you on that and that was the same for LS1's some make their own, some use one from a common source. I have not research LT1 stuff in years but maybe a sponsor can chime in on this as I would think its a important concern.
