I'm in Maryland and I'm thinking about getting my 01 TA T56 rebuilt. Who did you get your T56 rebuilt by?

We normally do the Stage 2 build which starts at $680 + shipping each way. It usually runs $80-90 each way thru UPS. Check out the site http://www.texasdrivetrainperformance.com/t56.html

RPM Transmissions. Let me know and i can cut you a nice deal on one installed or just buying it from me. They will send me one first then i send yours back as a core so there isnt much down time at all.

What about rebuild kits. Planning on buying a kit this month. But only two I can find are from tick and the gear box. Anyone know of any others? Wanting it good enough for 600 hp

All of the rebuilders pretty much use the same parts. You need to look at the list of parts listed in the "kit" when comparing prices. Some kits have more stuff in them thus being more expensive. Other kits are just more expensive because thats what the shop charges.

I am rebuilding my own. I have spoken to every rebuilder and if I was going have one do it, it would be Jason at TDP.

I bought my Level V, Viper spec T56 from RPM Transmissions in March of 06, and it has been GREAT!! Their customer service is incredible, and they have built the transmissions in alot of serious cars!

I use RKT56.com for my trans and rear end work... Does a great job building T56 transmissions to handle gobbs of power... Very attentive to detail and very personal... Give them a call... You can find a link to them in my sig...
