Default How to Remove Throwout Bearing?

I've searched here and other places and still can't figure it out. I tried the "compress the spring and turn" method, no joy. Looking at the bearing on the Advance website, it looks like there's a retaining ring but it's not clearly visible. Do I need to pull the slave off of the T56? Thanks.

No, you do not have to take off the slave. The bearing is retained with a plastic sleave that has 2 small tongs to stop it from sliding off. I just pull on the bearing with one hand & use a small flat head screw driver to lever it off.You could pull it off with a good yank if you have the room. good luck.
