Another T56 haha. RPMtransmissions or tick or someone like that can help you rebuild it. I know RPMtransmissions is giving me a pretty sweet deal on some transmission work. Send them an email or call them and see what kind of deal you can work up with them. Get the good stuff put in it though. Dont skimp on anything. Do it right, do it once.

Just get your trans built up. The Stage 2 build that I do will reliably hold 650rw. This build starts at $680. This includes all parts that wear (synchro rings, keys, springs, fork pads, & seals), and upgrade to the steel 3-4 shift fork and billet keys. The price can go up depending on which other parts may need to be replaced. What kind of problems are you having with your T56?
Also, do some searches here on this site, and check out the 2 links in my sig.

By the way, we also do package deals on T56 builds and clutch kits. It depends on how much the total comes out to and which clutch you get, but the discounts are anywhere from $75-150

I'd keep your T56 and have it rebuilt. I was in a pinch and needed my trans back in my car in a week, back in Jan of 2009, (moving out of state and the pilot bearing killed my input shaft). I didn't have time to send it off to Tick so I found a local race shop to do the work. $1280 later I had a rebuilt tranny. I've got some issues now, like grinding going into 5th when it's cold, and I just wonder if it wasn't due to the work done at my local shop. I wanted to send it off to Tick, and it would have only cost me a few hundred more... but I didn't, and now I'm thinking that in a few years I'll have it rebuilt again by one of the three shops mentioned in this thread.
T56's can handle some abuse. Monster makes awesome clutches, and Tick makes a good master cylinder. Talk to one of the sponsors about rebuilding your tranny and I bet you would find that it would be a better value than anything else you could come up with.
