ram powergrip hd, drove on one for 25k, took it out and sold it for 100 bucks it had alot of life left in it. 410rwhp car... only about 20 passes, but a lot of street miles in there too.

Let us know what kind of torque and usage the car will see and I will be happy to assist you with a recommendation. You can check out the second set of parts listed on the link below and let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,

I recently put a Ram Powergrip HD in my '93 (along with the Ram billet aluminum flywheel) and am very happy with the resultant drivability. The pedal is obviously stiffer, but the car is still more than manageable in traffic and revs up quite a bit faster. I've only got about 1000 miles on it so far, so I can't make any comments about longevity. This is in a ~400hp application. I intended to install a Street Twin, but the Ram option was much more affordable.

Depending on your power, a RAM PowerGRIP or McLeod StreetPRO or if you're a little up there you can move up to a RAM PowerGRIP HD or McLeod SuperStreetPRO.

How much does the ram power grip hd and aluminum flywheel weigh?

I'm also in need of a new clutch. My car makes ~420 rwhp, isn't on drag radials, but it might see some kuhmo XS tires in the future. I don't drag race, but I would like to get into autocross this summer so I'm looking for a lighter weight clutch.

Except the street twin is heavy as f I'm looking for something lighter. Right now I have a Spec Stage 3 (puck style) and love it. I may just get a new one with an aluminum flywheel, but I'm also looking into different options. Zoom seems to make a nice clutch, and the powergrip hd is an option, but I don't know. Its hard getting a clutch based on other peoples reviews since everyone has a different preference on how they think it should feel. Plus dropping ~$600 on a whim is hard for me to do.

I have been more than happy with my Spec and I have been leaning towards another one, but with an aluminum flywheel for sure.
