i had a 378rwhp cam and 100shot car with moser 9" and 26/11.5/15 MT et streets and let it bounce off the 6800 rev limiter about 4 times before going off the side of the clutch and i cut 1.50 to 1.55 short times and ran 10.8 twice but it was a 11.2 car more consitantly and drove it all the time and to work with was from philadelphia ms to galveston tx at the time and the LS7 clutch did great so good luck

Mine did fine with 400rwhp for 10k miles, but started slipping bad with 500rwhp. Just not enough clamp on it

I pounded the **** out of mine for three seasons. Many 7K dumps and typically hit 1.6x short times. It held great but smelled burnt often at the track. I am doing a new LS3 build now so I bought a Tex to replace it BUT man the dang LS7 clutch still looks mint. Its hasnt even worn off the fiber roughness in over half of the disk.

For a street car in the 400 whp range? Cant beat the LS7 clutch imo

I had one in 2004 GTO, 2 stages of spray and slicks with zero Issues. Hands down an awesome stock part.

Just Dont hot lap it. It Cant handle heat like race clutches. I have 413whp and 40+k miles on mine and its due. Look at the diamond stage two its just like the ls7 but stronger. What Im going with next.

If your making around 500 rhwp I would def not recomend that clutch dumping at all with slicks....If your dumping the clutch on w/sticky tires making decent rwhp you need to get some artilary clutchwise!!! Eventho the driveablity is going to suck..........
