Default Ok, about to be in a bind with this thing, need advice....

Ok, so I am in a situation which I'm stuck & need some advice. I currently have a LS7 clutch/LS2 flywheel set-up installed. Its been in the car for about 60k miles & has always held my little modest H/C set-up just fine, never had slipping issues. Well I have finally developed the infamous sticking pedal problem on my 160k mile stock master. Actually I'm very suprised its held out this long.

Here is my stuck part though. I could order a Tick master to fix the pedal, but there is a huge catch. The self adjusting LS7 pressure plate is already adjusted to my stock master. So I'd either have to remove my LS7 pressure plate & attempt to reset the adjuster fingers or replace the entire clutch at the same time as the master. I know this would be the end all fix all & I'd love to do this but definetly dont have $1100 for the Monster clutch kit I want w/ Tick master.

So I'm not sure what to do... Should I just pick up another stock master & replace my stock unit with another stock unit & cross my fingers since it worked for so long before & wouldn't effect my pressure plate adjustment at all. Hell at this point I'm even not sure about doin a drill modded stock unit since this pressure plate adjusts to the stock fluid flow.

Not sure about the McLeod unit either, I'm guessing it also flows more than a stock unit. So I'm guessing it would cause the same issues with the pressure plate. I'm thinkin a stock unit is gonna be my only option.

I have had a hard time finding alot of info on this issue so if anyone else has a LS7/LS2 clutch set-up or is thinking of buying one keep this potiential future issue in mind, I had no clue this clutch set-up would be this tempermental when I first installed it or I'd have gone another route honestly. I have been happy with the clutch's performance but now its becomming a issue with my hydrolics needing attention finally.

This is exactly why I try to steer people away from the LS7. It is a very temperamental clutch. Sent you a PM
