Question Rebuilt clutch kits by Exedy

Exedy has some good hyper series clutch kits at a great bargain, but they are rebuilt.

Would you recommend this for daily driver ( est.12 miles a day).

Nothing wrong w/ a rebuilt clutch if done right. I'm running one. Best friend's car has one behind a 408.

I know these are two completely different beasts but I put one of those Exedy clutch kits from Ebay on my friends 04' Cavalier and it has been going strong for the past 20K miles or so. I think it was like $120 for the pressure plate, disk, and slave so it was a good deal.

Sure. If it's by a known vendor and not a knockoff I'd go for it. So long as it isn't being abused. Than again, everything is rebuilt these days and can be of very good quality.

I know there is a local shop around here that rebuilds clutches & they are being ran in some pretty damn stout cars around town & dont miss a lick.

I was goin to replace my LS7 with a Diamond set-up but a buddy is giving me a complete LS6 clutch assembly w/flywheel. I'm gonna take it to that shop & have them hook it up for around $100. Then I'll buy a Tick master finally & new GM slave.

Nope, I got a buddy that normally goes. I never go to stuff like that, I dont have the right temperment for all the idiots running around, especially if I'm with my wife. Some people just dont know how to act ya know. If me & the wife go out for music its just to small laid back settings like a local band playin somewhere you can sit at a table & eat too. We know a few people in different little bands that we go watch.
