Default Diamond Stage 1 & dowel pin question

I'm trying to install a Diamond Stage 1 (Luk) on my re-surfaced LS1 flywheel, and the pressure plate does not have any holes for the 2 dowel pins in the flywheel. Do I just remove the dowel pins & bolt it up? The bolt pattern is correct. The pic of the PP here doesn't show dowel pin holes either.

Just remove the dowel pins. They are not needed. Use the clutch alignment tool and set it up. That easy.

i just marked and drilled holes into my clutch. before i did it i called jason at TDP bc i was afraid it would through off the "balance" of my clutch. jason said that it would be ok, so i drilled mine to match the pressure plate and it works perfect.

i did it this way bc i didn't want to remove my "torqued" pressure plate for a third time. now, if i had the PP off the block i would have removed the pins.
