Default Need advice!

Car is 98 z28 with lq9 and stock t56 trans and centerforce clutch. Transmission seems to me as if it needs new synchros in 3-6th and heres why:

Car grinds almost every time when shifting into 3rd, 5th, and 6th. Occasionally into 4th. At high rpms it will not go into 3rd at all.

Car will also not downshift from 6th to 5th without going down into 4th first.

I was dead set on getting the trans rebuilt which I'm probably going ot do anyways, but people keep teling me it might just be the master or need adjusted. This is my first 6spd car so I'm just a little at a loss. Should i buy a tickshift master and see if that does anything first?

Usually if multiple gears across multiple synchros are troublesome, it would point to the clutch and/or hydraulics. You might want to try a fluid change, but it very rarely helps with such dramatic problems. Upgrading the hydraulics (Tick master, etc.) is always a good idea, but depending on how long the car has been driven with problems, it may have caused internal synchro wear also..
