i have a 2000 ws.6 and am wanting a short throw shifter. Do you have to mount them from underneath the car or can you do it from inside the car? thank you for the responses.

you remove the center console and ur good to go i did mine in less than a hour and i was taking my time

Took me about an hour and a half. Probably would have been a half hour shorter but I was trying to put the damn shifter on backwards!

Ha ha that's good to hear. God I felt like a jackass! The "Pro 5.0" writing on the shifter goes backwards fyi

Just be careful around that little plastic cup inside of the tranny when you take the shifter off and put it on. You don't want to break that.
