Replacing a seal. Need help.

Replacing a seal. Need help. The end of the transmission where the drive shaft goes has a good leak going on. When I push on the rubber dust guard(i think that's what it is) red transmission oil comes out. No drain plug is leaking. I wanna know if I need to remove the transmission to replace this seal. Also can anyone give me any part numbers or write ups/quick tips to do this. Thanks.

This is where the oil comes out of. It doesn't look like it leaking because I cleaned it all up with a towel. The bracket that holds the rear of the transmission is covered in oil along with the exhaust and the bottom of the car. You can see the streaks on the torque arm from where I wiped it down. Oil seams to spread more than wipe up. In the first pic it looks like you can see the red oil on the bottom lip of that rubber dust guard.

I can't see the picture. You must be using Photo bucket or something similar.
LS1tech does allow uploading of pics.
That being said, if it is the rear seal, you only need to remove the drive shaft.
You can get the replacement seal at any auto parts store.

The seal is probably worn inside and letting fluid leak into the boot and puddle in there. The seal just needs replaced.
Ive got a couple options for you. I have standard slip seals that work fine but aren't booted. I'll give you one for free if you pay the shipping. Or I have new OEM Tremec booted seals for $15+shipping.
