I just found two cracks on my stock 27sp shaft during a routine teardown. Both cracks are up by the reluctor wheel, same basic area where yours broke.
Monster Level 3 here.... Last year I broke a forged trans yoke as well. Looks like I'll be upgrading to a Viper shaft.

Could wheel hop have had anything to do with the break? 400whp does not seem like it would typically be enough power to break any T56 that I know of just from torque alone. I do know that wheel hop can break drive line parts in very short order though.

Can you guys tell me what a "Monster Level 3" is? Or any level Monster for that matter?
