Default Bad Synchros?

My car's trans keeps popping out of 2nd and 4th.. I just started yesterday out of the blue. I'm assuming this means my synchros have gone bad?

If that seems to be the consensus, I'll be rebuilding it obviously. I was looking at the Tick Stage 2 Rebuild (it's a relatively stock car and will be getting a larger ls2 based engine in the future- 2-3 years). Thoughts on this? Is there a better rebuild to go for? It will continue to be a DD for a while and will eventually see some road course action.

Verify that any shifter stops haven't loosened and keeping the shifter from fully engaging. Unlikely that 2 different synchro keys or shift fork pads busted at exactly the same time.

Shift stops came loose and wouldn't let em get all the way into gear. Thanks for the suggestion, the only thing this ended up costing me
was my pride

I had this same thing happen after my Billet Plus install. I was scared of the $1k repair bill but my brother's friend told me to check the stops. Saved me a bundle

pretty sure he means the aftermarket shifters that have bolts you adjust so the shifter arm hits the bolts.

My first t56 had issues with 3rd, and after new synchros still had the issues, turned out shift fork... so if you dont get lucky like these guys, you may have a trans issue (which is NO fun)
