Default What trans to use for ls1 swap?
New to the site and have been looking around for info on ls1 swaps. I was wondering what people have used besides the t56 if any. I have a 66 impala that im doing the swap in. I have a manual out of a 91 camaro and want to know if it will work or not. Dont really have the money to put a t56 in there right now and just want to get it running so any help would be greatly appretiated

What kind of tranny from the 91 do you have?

If its outa a '91 its a T5. Not a good LS1 swap.
