Default throw out bearing question

I.am having some clutch issues and after tearing it back down I noticed something that seems odd to me. The new throw out bearing is out of round when you spin it. RAM claims it is self centering, but it seems odd that when you spin the bearing itself it follows more of an egg shape than a circle.

The OE bearing and most aftermarket units are in fact self-centering. I am not looking at your bearing specifically but these can look to be out-of-round and be completely fine.

Hi, we ONLY ever use OEM GM HD Throwout Bearings...We have sold 1000's of these over the years...the unit you have is an aftermarket piece...

Also when I install the fork is there a certain way it should go? Does the part of the bearing that comes to a < go into or away from the fork?

Doesn't matter. It just bumps against the fork as anti-spin.
