Default Clutch pedal issue

Last time I was at the dragstrip(4/29/11), I had something funny going on with the clutch pedal. As I was going through the traps, I would go to push the clutch in and I found the clutch pedal was already halfway to the floor. When I pushed down the rest of the way, it would stay down when I let my foot off. I could then reach down and pull the pedal up by hand and then it would work fine until I made another pass. It did the same thing all 4 passes I made. Keep in mind I drive this car every day and have no clutch issues before or after that time. I have made many passes down the dragstrip before with no issues like that. Anyone had this happen? Thanks

Master is on the way out. Mine did the same thing on hard runs. Drove fine as a DD, just whenever I played hard on it.

i notice on mine on a hard run up to 3rd the pedals low and if i'm realy hard on it's not there and the clutch won't disengage for like 15 seconds or so then back to normal someone told me dirty fluid but i suck mine out every few months hope we can both get some info here. i was thinking the pressure plastes getting weak and the clutch sticks when it gets hot.

what kind of clutches are you guys running? I tried two known working factory masters on a replacement clutch I bought with pretty bad luck, bought a tick master and it's been working great ever since

Your experiencing: "Pedal Crash"

It happens to everyone pushing these cars. To be honest the clutch is also on it's way out as well due to it not dis engaging correctly until after you pull it up.

Spend some time now and start seaching for a clutch replacement and hydraulics swap.

Clutch Master: Tick, hands down
Slave: 01+ GM replacement
Clutch: Pick your poison. I use a Textralia OZ-700 Z grip. Works killer.
