Exclamation What Tranny fluid to buy these days

I'm getting ready to put my engine and t-56 tranny back into my 2001 Camaro SS.

The tranny is stock (new clutch) and only has 17,000 miles on it.

What type/brand of tranny fluid would be best?

First time I changed my trans fluid i used mobil 1 synthetic. Honestly, I wasnt thrilled with it. Just changed it again last week and used regular advance auto dex III ATF and it actually feels a bit smoother. The synthetic also seemed to make it tougher to shift at the track when it was colder out.

I heard that with RP and other, but nothing about Mobil 1 ATF, mobil 1 atf work pretty well on dex 3 application.

Last time I changed the fluid I used Redline Synthetic Fluid. Worked great, shifted smooth, no complaints at all.

Redline seems to be a favorite as well as the stock fluid. I might have to go with stock when the new clutch kit goes in.
