T56 Magnum*****Buyers Beware***** There is a defect in the design of the rear seal from the factory.
I found out the hard way. Tremec will not admit it, but I spoke
with enough distributors about it. Some are even replacing it before
they sell them to the public. The factory seal has a rubber type
exterior that seams to just slide right out over time. I'm not talking about alot of time. This happened to me in less than 100 mile of the install.
Anyway the guys at D&D Performance have the replacement seal
in stock. I bought my tranny through Summit. Wish I would have purchased
it with D&D. Great guys and very helpful. Even to someone who did not purchase through them.
