All Internals are Brand New, Including the New Front Cover Plate with the huge input shaft bearing, not reused used parts..!!

Our T56 to TR6060 Change-over units have a much greater Hp/Tq capacity than any Custom Built T-56...It doesn't matter if its a Level 3, 4, 5 or 6 Built T56, it will NEVER handle the power a TR6060 can..

Some of you may have heard about the shifting issue's the 08-11 Corvettes & Gen V Camaros have...You will not have that with our units...Guaranteed.!!!!

All of our custom built Change-Over-Units have all the Upgrades used in 2012 TR6060's, PLUS In our units you get Carbon Rings in 1st/3rd/4th and the NEWEST Updated Synchro's in 1/2 & 3/4 which are upgrades from 08-11 years...

Plus our units will shift like butter...

Corvette T56 C5's C6's & Z06's from 1997-2007
We can take any Corvette T56 C5's C6's & Z06's from 1997-2007 and Change it into a TR6060, and it will bolt directly into your Corvette without any customization(Plug-N-Play) we change all the fittings so it will match your specific corvette, if you have the lube option on your C6 or Z06 it will come with a Brand New Front Cover Bump Plate from a 2012 TR6060, which has the huge front input shaft bearing...All your pump lines and fittings will fit perfectly, they will be in the exact same spots as the unit you take out of your car...Just pick your Gear Ratio Poison from the list below...
**RIGHT NOW we are offering FREE LUBE PUMPS w/ALL CORVETTE CHANGE OVERS TO TR6060's**

1998-02 F-body's & 2004-06 GTO's
We can do the exact same thing to any 98-02 F-body & 04-06 GTO T56 Trans, Change it into a TR6060 with all the Upgrades mention above...FYI, there is NO Custom fitting into your car like you have to do for the Magnum...This is an easy plug in play install...
Just pick your Gear Ratio Poison from the list below...

>>Plus you guys get a much stronger 31 Spline Main-Output Shaft, so you will need to upgrade your 27 spline yoke to our larger 31 Spline Yoke...

The same goes for any 2004-2008 Cadillac CTSV....

It really depends on what type of driving you do most, what year & model car do you have..??

It is a 2001 TA with a dana 60 rear with a true trac and 4.10 gear. Say 75% on the street and 25% at the track. If I was to use a power adder it will be nitrous. I have a 1/4 miler track that I go to.

Will the TR6060 tranny require the user to purchase a different clutch ?

Well the Z06 ratios are alot closer 1st-4th than the Z51, so if you can hook the car off the line, then the Z06 ratios are the way to go...

The TR6060 has a radically different case then a T56, part of what makes it stronger. You can't turn one into the other, though I can appreciate putting the 6060-type internals inside a T56 case, it won't make it a 6060

I am sorry you are confused about the cases...The cases are alittle different, but thats NOT what makes the trans hold the HP/TQ capacity...

Hi, because Royal Purple & Amsoil do not treat & condition the Newest style type carbon/kevl blocking rings very well...

No, it is you who are apparently confused. The changes to the case & castings are a part fo the design torque uplift . BTW transmissions do not see HP...They only see torque.

Well Ok, lets hear your explaination on the case's... Especially what part of the case uplifts the torque capacity from a T56 at 400-450 to a TR6060 750-800...

Well , apparently you don't think more casting ribs, thicker walls and greater bearing support count for much. A countershaft design transmission by nature is constantly pulling the cluster and mainshaft appart. Strength added to resist this is going to be part of any uplift of torque capacity.

This debate is an old one and I wouldn't put much on the later case with more ribs. If you have the unit shimmed up properly, I really don't see much difference between using either case. Its kind of like the argument of 30 spline versus 31 spline mainshafts. When neither fail on a regular basis, who cares which one you use?

In my opinion,
(1) Tremec under rates the T56 to begin with, 450 lbs of torque was covering their *** for warranty issues
(2) The Magnum gains strength from wider gears and larger bearings inside the unit.
(3) Tremec should have not worried about trying to package the Magnum in the same case as the T56. They should have added a whole 2" to it and used the same syncro design the GTO and Vette T56 used. They could have easily shortend the tail by 2" and the over all length would be about the same as the T56.

As far as I am aware the torque rating on all the Tremec transmissions is in 6th gear. This is why the rating is so low compaired to what the trans can handle in 1st gear. Also 2" would be a very big problem in a corvette application.

Yeah the Vette TR6060 could be an issue if GM wanted the unit to directly replace the T56 unit like it does.

As for the rating in 6th gear, I have not heard that before. As far as I knew, there was no rating for the overdrive portion of any unit.

I found a spread sheet with all the T56 and TR6060 combinations with their torque rating and application years ago. I have been digging for a few days with no luck. The document was a Tremec dicument as far as I remember. Hopefully I will find it soon because it had some interesting info about the ZR1 TR6060 and had 2 different torque specs on it for 1st-4th and 5th and 6th.
