Default thinking of going twin disk rst or rxt? or a level 2

I keep trying to pick a clutch here and its starting to drive me crazy lol... was thinking ls7 but probably wont be enough with the spray... then consider the level 2 from diamond and monster but those are close in price to the mcleod twin (although no flywheel). This is NOT going to be a track car. If i go to the track it will be easy launches 1.9-2.0 60's. I already got kicked out for no roll bar with the auto.. So if i went it would be just for fun and to get a good mph lol..

On motor i am making ~430. Currently running a 100 shot and may move up to a 150 shot. My priorities are SMOOTH clutch. I dont want a puck design under any circumstance.

So basically im looking for first hand experience from people who have the twin disk and if they think its the better option over a level 2 clutch. thanks!

McLeod RXT twin here....might be the best clutch I've ever driven. Pedal is so light I almost put my left foot through the floor the first time after being so used to the Spec 3 I had in it.

took the works right out of my mouth! I had a spec 3+ before my RXT and I couldn't believe how light the pedal was! Its by-far the best clutch I've had

From the way that you speak I would just put in the ls7 clutch. Worked fine for me at that power level but I never used a sticky tire. With the new combination and a sticky tire it lasted 2 passes. I was really dissapointed to have to upgrade, it was a great clutch after having a spec3 plus and a spec 3 both of which I was disapointed in.

Dug up an older thread, I will be replacing my spec 3+ soon. I went through 3 spec stage 3's in a year and then upgraded to the three+ with no luck. They all held fine on motor at 430rwhp but add in a hundred shot and they would not last but a few pass's.
The clutch has been in my car now for 3 years, 2.5 of those because after it slipped the first time I quit racing it. I bought an old Nova and put an ls1 in to race.
I'm not enjoying this car ad much as the trans am and want to shift again at the track. I just want to thank you guys, looks like an rxt is in my future, I may even hook the nitrous back up.

Our Level 3 has been 10.3 on a 1.45 in the 1/4 with well over a hundred passes in a customer's car and will easily hold the spray. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Chris, 817-750-2000
