Default 96 t56 swap into 98 autotragic.....

Tomorrow I'm going to pick up a 96 with a t56 and lt in it. The price is right and I figure I should have just about everything I need to do the swap I to the 98. Has anyone "on this site", done this? Have any pointers? Or experiences? Also when I start this project I will take pictures and post them so I can give back to the site rather than just take. Thanks in advance.

the LT t56 doesn't fit directly to an LS engine. search here for the differences, but you'll see that if you are looking at it specifically for a donor car, you might want to find another car.

Well I read this post a little late... I have the car now. What exactly won't bolt up? Is it the bell housing? I'm sure it is, but what else. I'm in now, have the donor. So now the fun will begin.
