HELP!!!! Clutch is not right not engauging
So I have a 1999 firehawk with a t56...
Swapped in a t56 out of a camaro ss due to bad syncros in the firehawks t56...
Buttoned everything up went to push the clutch and it is very hard to push in
when the car is off the tranny will shift into gear...
Turn it on and it does not shift in any gears the clutch pushes down but feels hard...
tried to bleed it out but no air comes out tried many times at least 20...
did not pump the clutch just pushed and held while a friend blead the valve..
completely lost on what to do... i had this trans in the camaro and it worked perfect... i should add there is a spec clutch and a light weight flywheel in this trans but not sure on any part numbers or parts because it was installed by previouse owner..HELP PLEASE LOL
really lost....

Its easy on a manual transmission to break the clutch if you do not stab it straight. It happens a lot more on FWD than on RWD but it can still happen on RWD. Just throwing it out there I was a transmission R&R tech for awhile and the most common mistake I would get is people who attempted a clutch at home and then ended up bringing them in when they were done for chattering or not releasing and they messed up the clutch when putting the trans back to the engine.
