3 speed on 5.3 questions

I have an 09 5.3 lmg I am outing in a 69 nova and I want to reuse my transmission due to money issues. My problem is I just bought a flywheel for the motor and now my bellhousing doesn't fit over the flywheel. I remove te starter and tried again with no luck. Any suggestions would be helpful.

If it's a chevy 153 tooth bellhousing (starter pocket fits inside the right vertical side of the bolt pattern) then it won't fit a 168 tooth (most BBC / some SBC / all LS_) flywheel.
