Lt1 ss hurst vs Ls1 ss hurst

Lt1 ss hurst vs Ls1 ss hurst Was there a difference between the factory installed hurst in the Lt1 ss camaros than the Ls1 ss camaros?? My buddy has a 97 ss with a hurst and I have a 99 ss with the hurst option. His shifter goes further forward and not as far back. Mine is just the opposite. Both of us has the 6" short handles with factory H *****. What gives??
