Default Won't shift at high RPM's

I am having the same problem with my 02. Went to the drags for the first time last night and found out this car will not go into 2nd or 3rd unless I wait for the RPMs to come down. I have driven this car for several years and have never had a problem shifting, but this is the first time I've raced it. I have modified the engine (dynoed @ 394hp) and have installed a B&M Ripper shifter. Can someone help?

Mine does this also with a built tranny , tickmaster, monster stg4, vie tried asking the people from tick but they said to just put the tickmaster and it will eliminate. Guess what it didnt. I personally think it's the slave not disengaging the clutch, I also have a new slave tho lol.

Yea I have no clue what it is.... someone has to know what's going on.. it sucks having a car you can't even drive to its potential I can drive normal all day no problems but if I try to get on it it takes like 2-3the seconds to shift its ridiculous

Where does clutch engagement occur relative to pedal travel? Is it high or low? Have you noticed any variance in pedal feel or engagement? Let me know and I will do my best to help you with trouble shooting.

It's starts grabbing pretty low, I'll have to try turning the tickmaster out and see what happens. It seems that when on nitrous it's much harder to shift I think the clutch isn't disengaging at all. Shift 1-2 isn't that bad but 2-3 3-4 take me a second to shift.

well .. my TICK MC showed up today.. The quality of this thing is awesome. billet aluminum mounting bracket the whole master cylinder is Heavy duty all the way to the Eye loop at the end.. big thumbs up to those guys. Installed it with in an hour bleed it and all .. did some slight adjustment and took it for a drive.. . took first gear all the way up and snatched second and the tires ripped.... took second up caught third.. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. I need to do some fine tuning on the adjustment cuz im scared of over pushin the pressure plate. . Great product.I have never been able to get on the car the way i can now and it feels like a whole new beast.

Most aftermarket clutch kits are designed to work with the stock hydraulics (all SPEC units are) but the hydraulics need to be functioning properly. "New" doesn't necessarily mean "working as they should" and this may be part of the issue.
