Default monster stage 3

hey guys I bought my camaro off a guy that put a new monster stage 3 clutch in it and the thing always chatters in first gear some one told me to put in a polyurethane tranny mount in and I was wondering if this would really make it easy in first gear not to chatter

Have you passed the 500 mike break in? If not then that's your reason it chatters.

Chatter can be contributed to a lot of things besides the clutch itself and driving style. If the engine or trans mounts aren't in good condition then I'd definitely replace them to solidify the drivetrain so it's not hopping around. The condition of the rear main seal is something else to consider, if it's leaking oil and contaminating the disc...not only is it causing it to wear faster, but it can cause it to slip and grab even if you're not meaning for it to. Another thing that can cause it to chatter if there is a glaze built up from excessively slipping it, the only way to get rid of it is to drive the car aggressively to knock it off(ie speed shift the car at torque peak or pop the clutch on the highway when you're wife isn't in the car
