Default Remove T56 adapter plate

Okay so I rebuilt my T56, and at the end i put the tail housing on wrong and I believe I broke the Interlock plate, which is at the bottom. Does anyone know if you can remove the adapter plate and just replace it from there, or can I just transfer the adapter plate for the LS to another trans I have with the LT adapter plate without tearing it all apart from the top.

The LT has internals from a 2006 vette.

The shift interlock can't be replaced by just removing the adapter plate.

Adapter plate replacement should including checking bearing preload. Don't just put the LS plate on the LT trans.

Okay how do you check the bearings? And I haven't started the converting the corvette internals to go into it yet. Also where can I get that plate interlock?
