Default Bleed clutch

Can you bleed the clutch on a 2002 Trans Am LS by taking off the lid and just pumping the cluch?

No, that might allow some air bubbles to escape in the line from gravity, but you need to crack the bleeder valve at the slave to ensure you get all air out if you do not have a remote bleeder.

You could do it by cutting a 2 in hole across from your gas pedal on the floorboard. That's how I did mine. Some people say u hear more noise that's not true long as u put the foam and stuff back u want even know the difference

I know if you have them on photobucket you can just take the code it gives you and copy then paste it here.

Thanks for the help.

Forget cutting holes in your car. Never had any trouble with an 11mm socket

I had to grind down the outside of my socket to get it to fit. Been like that on every single car i've worked on.

Okay thanks I managed to get it to blows but it didn't make any difference at all. So I tried a mityvac, and it sucked lots of bubbles out. But it didn't make any difference at all. Is there another method to get the hydraulic clutch to work?
