T56 pops out of 4th when not under load
The start of the problems came when I was just cruising one day in 4th gear, I rolled up to a stopsign and the car didn't really want to come out of 4th gear. I bumped it forward a bit with the palm of my hand, by no means a hard slam, and it came out just fine. I put it in first and took off. Since then, if I'm cruising and shift into 4th (without holding the shifter in gear) and just slowly release the clutch (just easy cruising) it pops into neutral every time. There is 0 grinding at any point. I can hold the shifter in 4th until I get it engaged and let go as long as it's somewhat under a load or WOT. But, if I let off the gas for a split second and get back on it without holding the shifter, it pops out again... Again, this issue is apparent at WOT, but also apparent at very low rpm easy driving. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Paul
