mounting our m6 to old school small block chevy?
I looking to install a 6 speed from the f-bodies to a old school small block chevy. I plan on doing this to a 56 chevy. Is there any adaptor plates or a bell housing???

McLeod makes a universal bellhousing thats supposedly will mount an LS1 T56 to a traditional sbc. How do you plan to work the clutch? You can't use a mechanical linkage, because the T56 does not have a traditional bearing retainer on which the TO bearing rides. Maybe a stock LS1 T56 hydraulic bearing will work, but then you have to mount an MC to the 56 chevy. You will have to pay attension to the height of the clutch fingers. Its all doable.
