is my diamond stage 2 on its way out? I pick up a slightly used diamond stage 2 clutch a few months ago. I also picked up a brand new billet flywheel, master cylinder etc. I had the clutch installed a few weeks back and for the first few days the clutch would fully grab less then 1" off the floor.
I have about 1k on the clutch so far. I havent been to the track yet but I have done a few wot runs from a dig on the streets, seeing how the clutch performed. I have put a bottle worth of 150 shots through it as well.
I just got back from a car show that was heavy bumper to bumper traffic. After a while of stop and go, the clutch started to heat up and hardly grab. I parked the car and let it cool down for a few hours. When I went to drive it again, the clutch doesnt engage until the pedal is 3/4 of the way out. It doesnt feel like its slipping WOT or anything, It just lost the 1/2" of the floor aggressive grab it did have.
any idea's?
