Good Luck
I just pulled my t-56 apart and expected some carnage during the tear down. Time to buy a new input shaft. Well at least you will get a new fourth gear.
I haven't put mine on the road, so I don't know how it turned out. Following the service manual will take you through the whole deal.

Are the splines rounded off or just full of aluminum?
