R&R clutch master cylinder... any tips

Default R&R clutch master cylinder... any tips

So ive been wrestling the master cylinder, trying to get it out and im stuck! I unbolted the 2 bolts from under the dash (and got that damn screw washer that was hiding behind the bracket), got the u-bolt holding the m/c in, disconnected the steel braided line and the top hose.... its stuck between the brake master cylinder and the steering shaft. Im ready to pull the brake master cylinder!!!

It's tough! I laid across the engine bay and with my right hand just wiggled, twisted, and pulled until it came up through. Just wait till you have to put the new one in! You did disconnect the rod from the pedal right?
