If you want to use an older style muncie pattern bellhousing, an adapter plate and large o.d. pilot bearing.

There's no production LT1 style input shaft for the triple/double cone GTO T56.

If you had a double/single cone F-body T56, then that would work to go to the LT1 input/adapter plate, bell and clutch.

Jmd is correct, there is no input shaft that you can buy off the shelf. However, we can make one for you. Give us a call Texas drivetrain performance. 817)300-6840. We can convert it over to an lt1 trans.

Hey, 01GMC, I have a rebuilt Camaro LT1 T-56 that I might be willing to trade for a LS T-56. send me a private message if you are interested.

or just buy the correct quicktime bellhousing. and then a normal 26 spline clutch and presure plate from centerforce and be good to go. not sure of the shifter choices for the trans though
