spec throw out bearing i recently picked up a 3+ and didnt have the spec TOB, im still using the factory one. i read that the factory and spec are the same. car has not started or driven yet so im unsure if it will pose a problem, but is the spec TOB a requirement??

It is always best to install a new bearing (and slave too) when installing a new clutch. If there is an issue with the one you have the transmission will have to be removed and this is both time consuming and frustrating.
