Default Is Factory ss husrt shifter a short throw shifter

would there be enough of a difference to justify the 150-200 bucks for an aftermarket short throw shifter ie... b&m, hurst, mgw. thanks

Yes it is. I have tried a Pro 5.0 and B&M shifter. I always went back to a stock Hurst with a short stick on it. Was by far my favorite shifter.

Take apart a stock hurst and you'll never use one again. Cheap.

Ive had a Pro5.0, B&M and Hurst. The factory hurst is the only one i can comfortably go from 1st to 3rd to 5th without jamming it or getting stuck. Not that i always drive that way its just a nice shifter for what it is. I could never do that with the other two, atleast for me. Nothing taken away from the other ones there great shifters.

I have the factory hurst with the ws6store stick and I like it better than my friend's shifter. His is a pro 5.0 I think.
