Default Best trans for me?

Looking to put either a muncie 4 or a t5 behind my 1st gen small block chevy with around 550hp, any suggestions on trans? It will be a street/strip car so looking for 4 or 5 gears and must be durable!

Tko 600 is your best bet.

You can build one to handle it but its about 2500. For that kind of money, you are in Tko and t56 money.

Depending on its condition, it might be a good option for you. Not having an overdrive might suck depending on if it's a street car.

That might true but that's not the topic of this thread. You asked what would be good for you to use, not what is good to buy and sell for a profit.

Turns out I have a M20 from a 65 or 66. Everything on the insides are fantastic, hopefully this can withstand my HP needs
