Question soft clutch need help

I have a silver 2000 Camaro Z28 and i replaced the clutch on it 3500 miles ago with a F1 Racing Stage 2 clutch and the clutch is really soft. I did not replace either the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder with the new clutch. could that be the problem? if so which one do i need or do i need both?

It is possible that you have air in the hydraulic system. I suggest doing a vacuum bleed on the slave (bleeder) and the reservoir (mounted on the firewall). You can check the fluid too, if it is dark or discolored then do a complete flush and refill of the system too. Give it a try and let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!!
