Default What will break first in my T56?

Hey boys, I am gonna be running the Gibbs truck at the Houston Shootout next month and I am wondering what might be an issue for breakage.? Truck has the following in the drivetrain.
RAM HD 6 puck
Fidanza alum flywheel
upgrade T56
Dynotech alum DS
TRUE TRAC
5.13's
31 spline axles
cal-trac's
-4* pinion angle
strange and ARP everything
SLP shifter
DS Loop
28X13.5 r15's ET streets on Weld Racelite's
17 Racelite front runners
truck will weigh around 4000lbs with me in it
4K launches
Think I will have an issue?

That's what TURBOGIBBS says too. Is there an upgrade for the output shaft?

With the 5.13 gear you might get lucky. Im not sure if you are running 1/8 mile or 1/4. Just whatever you do, don't shift into 5th gear lol. Instant 5th gear destruction will follow.

Shootout will be 1/4 mile. I will only use the first 4 gears. I found out today that the tranny in the truck is a Stage 2 from 6 Speed Inc. It has everything except 31 spline mainshaft. Tranny shifts like a dream, but I am worried about the shaft breaking......

Well an upgraded transmission is always a plus. Hopefully your steep gears will help to take a little load off the transmission.

Well, Its a relief to hear from the top builder's about some good points I have in my favor. I am going to also try a 27X10.5 ET Street for a higher final ratio. I know I need all the gear I can get. To try getting a 4000lb brick to go 11's on motor WITH a 6SPD....

Unfortunitely faceplating a TR6060 is VERY expensive compaired to a T56. The TR6060 the faceplate 1st-6th though instead of just 1st-4th in the T56. They also machine custom 1-2 and 3-4 shift forks from Ampco 18 alloy. The forks are the most expensive part of the whole process. The forks alone are $1800.

Shifting into 5th gear is bad because 5th and 6th gear weren't designed to be power gears. With any kindof real power it will strip the teeth right off the gears. I'll attach a picture of what happens.

Faceplating a TR6060 is roughly $4300 for 1st-6th, Fork pads on the 5th/6th fork and reverse is $90 and micro polishing is $350.

Yea we can upgrade you to a G-force 5th/6th gear set that are designed to handle high power opperation in 5th and 6th. The only downfall is they are quite noisy but they work great for mile events.

That price is faceplating your TR6060. Yes straight cut G-force gears for the T56. The TR6060 is strong enough that you will be able to use 5th and 6th as power gears.

Took it to HMP last night and went 7.60's @92 mph. Truck was a little heavier than I thought. 4270 w driver. 1.7 60's and no breakage...Shifted like a dream all 5 passes. This was with the short 27" tire for 1/8th mile. We will see if she holds with the big tire in the 1/4 mile.
