It's done every day.
I suggest reviewing how you want to use the results. Some claim to street drive face-plated units but most would not like this in a DD.
Cryo treating is only effective with careful processing...know who you have do it.
I know Liberty's Gears does both, bbut there maybe sponsers that do as well.
Research is your friend.

It's definitely not for everyone when it comes to face plating. I personally wouldn't put up with it if I had to drive the car on a regular basis.

I know what face plating is... I'm just wondering about cryo treating the gears for the added strength, and if there is any reason NOT to do it when face plating, such as the increased shock load on the gears when shifting with face plates, versus normal synchros...
