Default 1999 camaro trans help

So I dropped the trans a few days ago on my z28 because I beloved it has a bent shift fork. I'm going to put a 30 spline viper shaft in with a few other parts to make it shift better, but I had a few questions.

Since I'm in there I'm going to do a clutch, once I put a strong one in there what is going to be the first thing to go out? Driveshaft or rear end?

I ran 10.90s in my 3800lbs 99 SS with a stock aluminum driveshaft. It definately didn't do that with the 10 bolt tho lol. Your rear end will more than likely be the next weak link.

Fastest car I have even seen with a factory 10 bolt ran low 10's but not for very long.

I have only seen a few 10 bolts make it into the 10s but I have never seen any manual trans car make it that low.

30 spline shaft will need a new yoke to adapt to stock drive shaft and a conversion joint which is 1350 by 35 only one company makes these and i forgot who.

Probably the rear with go first. However, I have seen cars break the stock driveshaft before the stock 10 bolt. It would be a good idea to try and pick up a 12 bolt or 9 inch, and some sort of stronger driveshaft.

As far as the tranny build goes. The 30 spline Viper shaft is one of the best options for the T56, however, make sure you replace a lot of other key elements or you will essentially create another weak link in your T56.

Here is a link to our T56 builds that you may want to invest in: http://www.tickperformance.com/1993-...camaro-trans-am/

The part number for the 1350/1310 conversion joint is 5-460x. It is a Spicer part.

Ok thanks, but what about the shaft coming out of the engine? With that shaft match right up with the viper main shaft.
