Default What clutch to run?

I have a 02 formula M6 and this car is my daily. I think the throw out bearing is going bad. Since I'm going to replace it I'm going to put in a new clutch. The question is what clutch do you recommend and where to get it.

The car is basically stock right now. I have bought long tubes and will be getting a cam. Probably do that install this fall.

i'd recommend an ls7 clutch kit if your staying with just bolt-ons and don't take it to the track or beat on it much. i just ordered a monster stage 3 for my car though. will be running a cam, and probably heads too. can't give you my personal opinion yet though but a lot of other people have given great reviews on them.

I have the LS7 clutch and really like it, its got over 100 passes at the track and still feels like new and is smooth like the stock one. I have full bolt-ons and its been a very reliable clutch.

The LS7 isn't the best clutch for launching. However, being that you'll only track your car 1-3x per year.... i think the LS7 would be fine. I debated getting an LS7 setup myself before chaning my mind and grabbing a TDP setup.

i just dont think the extra 350 bucks for a monster stage 3 is worth it for my setup but i dont want to cut myself short and end up going with a monster later down the road because the LS7 failed me....

I absolutely love my Monster LVL 3, very streetable. Buy the best now and not even worry about replacing it. You will not be disappointed I promise you that.

McLeod RST FTW!! Holds a ton of power, pedal effort is less than stock, smooth, quiet, and awesome.

It completely depends on your power output, etc. The 3 is not even close to the same ballpark as the anemic LS7 unit. That would be closer to a Level 1.

Give me a call, we'll go over a few things and get you taken care of.

i have a ls7 clutch for about a year it has over 100 track passes on slicks around 20 of them being nitrous passes and over 10k road miles still feels as good as the day i put it in i launch at 5500 on a 2 step i know there are must stronger clutches out there but for a daily driven street strip car under 450-500hp its the best in my opinion
