Default How the hell does this happen lol

So I was driving on the highway and all of a sudden my clutch pedal sticks to the floor. I try picking the pedal up with my foot and it's still rock hard. I get towed home and this morning I jack the car up to see if I can see anything.

The tick master line is popped out of where it connects to the slave.

Ordered a new slave and speed bleeder from Tick. Pretty sure the slave is done since the two pieces in the last picture are apart of it lol

I have never seen the slave come apart like that. Have you disconnected and reconnected a masters line from this slave multiple times? I suppose its possible that the locking spring inside the slave could have became weakened or even damaged at some point if the line was forced to be disconnected even though the springs weren't fully released.

Thats my only guess, but its probably just one of those freak things that happens. You can make sure the fitting is still sharp around the edge where the springs lock against the masters fitting (the edge that the white release collar is sitting against in your pic). If it looks good, a new slave should take care of your problem.

The line and what not looks fine to me. Hopefully once the new slave arrives that will fix the issue lol.

Thanks for responding Jonathan

Had my line pop out before that sucked. Just rebent the tabs and jammed it back in and was good to go.

Did the two pieces I took a picture of also fall out?

Well the two pieces are definitely from the slave cylinder. The slave is being replaced tomorrow so hopefully it will fix the issue.

Turns out I somehow cracked the outside part of the slave where the master cylinder line snaps into lol
