I went from a Spec 3 to a McLeod RXT twin and it's an entirely different car now. Best clutch I've ever driven. Ever. And I've driven lots.

Same here! I've had many of clutches my self. Spec 3+ was the last clutch I had before my RXT. It was a night and day difference. Hands down the Mcleod RXT has been the best clutch I've had!

The chatter when starting off is beyond annoying.

I want a clutch that I can let out with no gas pedal, or starting off going up hill, and no chatter like I did with the stocker and ls6 clutch, but won't melt during the few times I utilize all 500HP

Dont waste you time and money on the LS7!!!!

A Stage 3 will always be more apt to chatter due to its pucked design. We have great success with both the 2+ and 3+ (which will be much smoother than the Stage 3) though you may also want to consider the SST Super-Twin too. I would be happy to help you if you have any questions or if you are interested in one of our other options. And of course, we always offer a return customer discount too! Let me know. Thanks,

Thanks everyone, some good info, still too many choices I tend to agree with your feedback on LS7, I DON'T want to do this twice as I am going to pay for labor this time around so I want it right the first time. Although I like to go low budget I fear going LS7 will bite me in the end.
