I have a ram adjustable mc and I'm pretty sure the seals are toast in it. I bought it used and could never get it To hold a pedal properly after bleeding.

I'm looking for opinions on if I should send it off to be rebuilt or just replace it with a tick unit.

What's the price difference? Any cons with just rebuilding it if it turns out to be cheaper?

Tick unit is twice the price but you get twice the quality. I'd love to have a Tick but funds just aren't there for it right now so I'm buyin a used Ram off a buddy for $50 to see if it fixes my shifting issues. If it'll get me by till end of the year I'll be alright.

The tick is far better master for sure. The Ram is a stocker made adjustable IIRC.
As long as you can get the parts to rebuild it, I'd try that first.

I want to pay it's a full aluminum body as opposed to the plastic covered whatever the stock one is made out of. But I could be wrong as it has been a few years since I looked at it.

just looked at one on jegs website, looks to be a modified stocker. I just dont know if i can justify spending over 350 bucks on a master cylinder just yet.
