Default Ford t5 to 5.3 (i know beaten to death topic)

sooo foxbody ford WC T5 to 5.3l from what i gather heres what i need

late 80's astro van 4.3l bellhousing (will it work with clutch cable???)
stock ls1 flywheel and pressure plate
2000 mustang GT clutch disc
LS7 pilot bearing drilled to fit ford input shaft

here are my concerns

-ford input shaft is longer than the chevy t5 (i think)
-will the astro t5 bell bolt up to the ford t5 and work with the ford fork and cable

bump i to am doing this swap soon. ill be using the quick time bellhousing as its ment for this swap. how would you drill out the ls7 BEARING? unless its infact a bushing? i was wondering if there was an off the shelf bearing that would swap in and the ford t5 would work with it. also what cars had an 11" pressure plate / 11" disc? because some mustangs had and 11" disc with the 10 spline input shaft.

What's your 1st gear ratio? You can swap in a GM input shaft, use the LS1 clutch/flywheel, LS7 pilot bearing.
Have you actually found An Astro Van bell yet?

Ls1 clutch is 11" correct? Then use a ls1 pressureplate and a mustang disc. There were mustangs with 11" discs. Anyone know what pilot bearing you use for a ls to ford t5?

One of the adapter bellhousing companies (Quicktime?) used to make a pilot bushing for that.

Btw, T5s were not the strongest trans, I would suggest going through it before bolting it up. And if you're going to do that, spend the extra $100 on the GM shaft.

I'm also going to be using a t5 in my application, I was told that Lakewood Part #15975 T-5 to Chevy adapter Pilot Bearing can be used in this application with the rm-6037 bellhousing. I still need to call quicktime to verify this though.
