Default Slave Cylinder ?

I am shipping my trans to Tick today "thanks Joey." I am planning on replacing the clutch before it gets back. Now the question is do I need to replace the Slave cylinder as well or is there any way to tell if it is bad while off of the car? And is the slave cylinder off of an 2006 GTO interchangable with the slave on my 02 T/A

yes you should always replace the slave when doing the clutch. sometimes theyre weird and work fine when you pull the tranny only to have it leak when you put it back in..... just save the hassle and pick up a new one, as far as the fbody to gto i believe they are the same but double check just to be sure..
