swapping clutch and tick master this weekend couple of ?'s
Im doing my tick mc and monster stage 2 clutch swap this weekend. Just have a few quick check up questions.
What fluids do you guys recommend for the hydraulics?
What trans fluid is the best?
What bolts should I use loctite on which should get antisieze?
Is there a torq spec for the trans and bellhousing bolts?
Finally, the monster clutch/flywheel has dowel pins, I have the instructions for where they go for my set up, but is there any sealant/loctite that should be used on these?

I use wilwood high temp racing brake fluid in my master, and dexron 3 atf in the trans. I used loc-tite on the flywheel bolts, and pressure plate bolts. Yes there is a torque spec on the bell housing bolts. I cant remember what it is off the top of my head but I have a haynes manual an it is in there. I didnt use any sealants or lubes on the dowl pins. They take a little bit of hammer work to get them in all the way. Probably not going to get them out if you tried so loc-tite isnt required. Hope this helps. Good luck with the rest of your install.

I believe Tick recommends DOT 3 brake fluid, and your trans will have a large sticker on it that says "USE DEXRON 3 ATF ONLY".
Its easier to fill trans through the shifter hole before you re-install the shifter.
If you don't already have one go to Harbor Freight and buy a trans jack.
Use some emery cloth or a file to put a small chamfer on one side of the dowel pins to make it easier to install the pressure plate.
It doesn't matter if your slave cylinder works fine, install a new one.
Install a remote bleeder line.
Have a friend help.
Check under your carpet for loose change.
