Default Can the drill mod be done without removing the master cyl?

Hi guys,

Was wondering if the braided line can be removed from the master cyl without removing the master cyl from the car? Im not planning on replacing it just doing the drill mod on the line. Every how to write up I find is with installing a tick or other aftermarket master cyl so didn't know if it could be done without it. Thanks

dont think so, it was hard enough taking the master out (getting hand in the tight space to work it out is a PITA) so i doubt u could reach the drill there and if you could how would you hold the line perpendicular to the drill bit to not drill into the braided line once you went through the restrictor inside the line? honestly probably 1-1.5 hours if you take your time, when i had it out i also did the stock adjustable master cylinder mod, so i spent almost double that time figuring things out

The roll-pin needs tapped out.
You might be able to remove two nuts from the retaining u-bolt, rotate the master and get it done. Never tried it.
